The All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed contentment with the conduct of the ongoing local government election in Imo State.

MacDonald Ebere, the party’s chairman, conveyed this through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Julian Chijioke, during a media briefing in Owerri on Saturday.

Ebere noted, “The APC is extremely satisfied with the process of the Imo State Council election. The Imo State Independent Electoral Commission (ISIEC) has shown it possesses the necessary tools and expertise to conduct a transparent and credible election.”

He praised ISIEC’s handling of the election, particularly the efficient delivery of materials and collation of results, and stated that the commission’s work demonstrated a strong commitment to democratic values.

“We see no need for improvement, as ISIEC has proven fully capable of ensuring a fair and transparent process,” Ebere added.
