The Arewa Peace Foundation (APF) has voiced support for Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal, urging critics and key players to unite behind his leadership for the sake of peace and development in the state.
Speaking at a Kaduna press briefing, APF’s Director of Publicity, Bello Abdulhamid, applauded Lawal’s efforts, highlighting the governor’s strides in tackling violence, boosting agriculture, and improving education.
The group dismissed negative comments about the administration, calling on citizens to back Governor Lawal’s vision for Zamfara’s future. APF stressed the importance of cooperation among stakeholders to address the state’s ongoing challenges and drive sustainable progress.
Governor Lawal, who assumed office in May 2023 after defeating former Governor Bello Matawalle, has made significant progress despite facing initial obstacles and limited resources left by the previous administration.
