The people of Edo State are heading to the polls today, as they exercise their democratic right to choose the next governor. With over 2.2 million permanent voter cards collected, the election promises to be highly competitive.

Top contenders include Senator Monday Okpebholo of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asue Ighodalo representing the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Labour Party’s Olumide Akpata. Each candidate is vying for the state’s top seat, with the outcome set to shape the future of Edo State’s governance and development.
