The House of Representatives Committee on the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Judiciary has called on judicial officers to uphold fairness and accountability in their duties. During a meeting on Friday in Abuja, committee chairman Rep. Adamu Gamawa emphasized the importance of timely justice, saying, “Justice delayed is justice denied.”
Gamawa, recently appointed by Speaker Tajudeen Abbas, announced plans for an oversight visit to FCT courts and judicial agencies. The visit aims to assess progress and identify challenges within the FCT judiciary, with hopes that improvements there could positively influence judicial systems across Nigeria. He encouraged collaboration among judiciary stakeholders to achieve effective justice delivery.
