In a recent development, the Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has announced the appointment of new chief executives to several government agencies within the state.
The decision was conveyed by the Secretary to the State Government, Arc. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, on Monday, according to a statement from Gov Radda’s Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed.
The 11 individuals who have been appointed, along with their respective portfolios, are as follows:
1. Alh. Kabir Usman Amoga – Appointed as the Executive Director of the Katsina State Environmental Protection Agency.
2. Hajia Binta Dangani – Appointed as the Executive Secretary of the Katsina State Emergency Management Agency.
3. Engr Tukur Tinglin – Appointed as the Managing Director of the Katsina State Water Board.
4. Hon. Abubakar Sulaiman Abukur – Appointed as the Executive Director of the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency.
5. Dr. Nuhu Bala Kankia – Appointed as the Executive Secretary of the Katsina State Agency for Control of AIDS.
6. Dr. Aliyu Rabiu Kurfi – Appointed as the Executive Director of the Katsina State History and Culture Bureau.
7. Prof. Kabir Ibrahim Matazu – Appointed as the Executive Director of the Katsina State Science and Technical Board.
8. Dr. Aminu Salisu Tsauri – Appointed as the Executive Secretary of the Katsina State Scholarship Board.
9. Alh. Kabir Magaji – Appointed as the Chairman of the Katsina State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB).
10. Dr. Ibrahim Isyaka – Appointed as a Permanent Member of SUBEB 1.
11. Hon Rabiu Idris – Appointed as a Permanent Member of SUBEB 2.
