The Kogi State Government has announced the rescue of the remaining eight kidnapped students at the Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osara.
The Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo, announced this in a statement in Lokoja.
He said Governor Ahmed Ododo has ordered full support towards the recovery of the students and their parents.
The governor also thanked all the Security Chiefs, the Director General of DSS, the Inspector General of Police, all officers and men of the Armed Forces including the Pilots, who put in their best to assist the government in reuniting the kidnapped students with their families.
